I’m Danny Thompson, a professional photographer based right here in Halifax. I work with local businesses, capturing the people, places and hard work behind what they do. Whether you need new headshots, photographs of your premises, product photography or coverage of an important event, I’ll help you get images that look the part and have a proper purpose.
There’s something I love about photographing businesses in my home town. Halifax has everything from independent shops and creative businesses to established manufacturers, professional services and some pretty impressive buildings. There’s certainly no shortage of things worth pointing a camera at.
I’m Danny, and I run my photography business from Dean Clough. Whether you’ve got a shop in the town centre, an office full of people who need new headshots or a workshop where the interesting stuff happens, I can come to you and capture your business as it really is.
Before a shoot, I want to understand what you’re working towards. Is it a new website? Better marketing photographs? A product launch? Or have you just realised your team photos are about five years out of date?
Whatever it is, we’ll put a plan together. And if the thought of having your photograph taken fills you with dread, don’t worry. I’ve photographed plenty of people who feel exactly the same. We’ll have a laugh, get you comfortable and come away with something you’re happy to show people.

Halifax has no shortage of interesting buildings and landscapes, but some things are difficult to appreciate from street level. If you need to show an entire property, document construction progress or capture a site within its surroundings, an aerial perspective can make all the difference.
I provide drone photography and video for commercial projects, property marketing, developments and suitable inspection work. Every location is assessed beforehand, particularly where buildings, people or airspace restrictions affect what’s possible.

We’ll have a chat about your business, the images you’re missing and what they’ll be used for. I’ll help put together a shot list and work out the best place to photograph everything.
02 / THE PHOTOSHOOT
I’ll bring the equipment, sort the lighting and guide you through the shoot. Whether we’re in the studio or at your premises, we’ll keep things comfortable and make good use of the time.
03 / THE FINISHED IMAGES
Once your photographs have been selected and edited, you’ll receive them through an online gallery. We’ll have agreed the intended uses and delivery requirements beforehand.
