Construction Drone Filming & Aerial Site Photography

Covering Leeds, Halifax & West Yorkshire

Need your construction projects to look as good on screen as they do on site?

We provide professional drone filming and aerial site photography for contractors, developers and architects across Leeds, Halifax and West Yorkshire – giving you high-impact visuals for progress updates, marketing, bids and client presentations.

All flights are planned, risk-assessed and carried out by CAA-approved drone operators, working safely around live construction environments.

Why Use Drones on Your Construction Project?

Aerial visuals do three big jobs for you:

1. Show the full scale of your project

Ground photos are great, but they can’t show the whole story. Drone footage reveals:

  • Site layout and surrounding infrastructure
  • Access routes, staging areas and logistics
  • How the project fits into the wider landscape or town

Perfect for progress reports, design reviews and end-of-project case studies.

2. Impress clients, investors and stakeholders

Instead of another dry PDF, you can drop in:

  • Short aerial clips for client updates and board packs
  • Before/after overview shots that show real transformation
  • Hero footage for project handover and PR

It looks sharp, professional, and shows you’ve got your act together.

3. Give your marketing team serious firepower

Your marketing team get ready-made visuals for:

  • Website project pages and home page banners
  • LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube content
  • Tender documents and capability decks
  • Trade shows, award entries and press releases

One good drone visit can feed your content for months.

Drone Photographer Local to Leeds & Halifax

We’re based in West Yorkshire and work regularly across Leeds, Halifax and the wider region. In Leeds, this includes city centre developments, business parks, campuses, retail sites and industrial projects. Around Halifax and Calderdale, we photograph mill conversions, new builds, commercial units and public schemes. We also cover Huddersfield, Bradford, Wakefield, Kirklees and neighbouring areas.

Being local means we can visit sites quickly and offer realistic advice, rather than guessing from a distance. It also makes coordination with site managers and H&S teams straightforward. And when dates inevitably shift, we can stay flexible and work with you to keep everything on track.

How We Do Drone Photography

We capture smooth, controlled 4K (or higher) aerial footage tailored to your project:

  • Opening and closing hero shots of the full site
  • Slow fly-overs and orbits showing progress and detail
  • Specific angles requested by design, engineering or marketing teams

Footage is supplied ready to use, or we can edit it into finished films.

Aerial Site Photography

High-resolution still images for:

  • Progress records and monthly updates
  • Before, during and after comparisons
  • Case studies, brochures and websites
  • PR and media coverage

Aerial Inspections

Where appropriate and safe, we can:

  • Photograph roofs, façades and hard-to-reach areas
  • Provide overview images for logistics and staging plans
  • Capture visual evidence to support snagging and handover documentation

Typical Projects We Cover

We’re set up for all kinds of drone photography projects. Whether it’s a one-off visit or regular progress shoots, we’ll size the package to fit.

  • Commercial and mixed-use developments
  • Industrial units and logistics hubs
  • Residential schemes and regeneration projects
  • Education, healthcare and public sector sites
  • Retail, leisure and hospitality builds or refurbs
  • Infrastructure and public realm schemes

Drone Photography FAQs

Yes – most of our work is on live, busy sites. We plan flights carefully, work with your site team, and only fly when it’s safe and legal to do so.

Drones don’t mix well with high winds, heavy rain or poor visibility. If conditions aren’t safe, we’ll reschedule. You won’t be charged for flights we refuse on safety grounds.

Absolutely. We can schedule one-off visits, regular monthly shoots or milestone days (steelwork complete, topping out, handover, etc.). You tell us what matters and we’ll plan around it.

Yes. As standard we provide edited imagery/films. If your internal team or agency wants raw footage as well, we can include that in the agreement.

Pricing depends on location, access, complexity and how many visits you need. Once we’ve had a quick chat and seen basic site details, we’ll give you a clear, fixed quote – no surprises.

Our Drone Photography Process

We keep things straightforward, fully planned and easy to slot into your existing project workflow.

01. Enquiry & Discovery Call

We begin with a chat about the site, the project and the milestones you want to document. We’ll explore what you need to capture, whether that’s progress, inspections, before and after comparisons or material for marketing. If there are sensitive areas, no-fly zones or neighbours to consider, we’ll cover those too. You’ll come away with clear, honest guidance on what’s achievable.

0.2 Pre Flight Planning & Risk Assessment

Before we ever set foot on site, we carry out all the groundwork. This includes checking airspace restrictions, mapping safe flight paths and identifying take off and landing points. We prepare full RAMS and coordinate directly with your site manager and H&S lead. You’ll know exactly when we’re visiting, where we’ll be operating and how the session will run.

03. On Site Drone Operations

On the day, we sign in, complete any required inductions and follow all site rules. We walk the site to confirm conditions, then carry out controlled flights to the agreed brief. Before leaving, we review key shots with you to make sure nothing has been missed. If weather or site conditions don’t allow for safe flying, we’ll be upfront. Safety comes first.

04. Editing & Delivery

After the session, you’ll receive professionally edited aerial photos in both print and web resolutions. If video is part of the brief, we can provide a polished edit with music, branding and titles. Social media-optimised clips are available too. Everything is delivered through a secure online gallery or transfer, making it easy for your team to access and share.
