Danny has a lovely personality and it definitely shines through his work. He makes everyone feel comfortable and get their best smiles out. Would recommend for anything you need photographing. We have done his content club too out and about which was also a good way of getting some different shots. Thanks again Danny!

We had a fab day with Danny and Ellen at Shibden Hall grabbing some amazing photos for our business. Danny didn't have just two people to organise - but also our dog Merlin who decided he wanted in on the action. Never misses a trick! Danny was patient, clear, had a great vision for what we wanted to achieve and delivered some amazing pictures - all at great value. If you're looking to boost your image library then do not hesitate to reach out to him - not only will you get some fab images but you'll have so much fun along the way. Thanks Danny!

I wish I could give 20 stars... I commissioned Danny to take a series of photos - but this was not the usual headshots type of gig. I wanted to do a unique exposé on the REAL life of a CEO - the dark and light that goes on behind the scenes. The shoot would capture the hard moments when depression, self doubt, bad habits can get the best of a CEO. Then contrast that with the light side (the better side). Danny understood the assignment. Oh boy, did he understand it!!! Danny's prep was the thing that stood out to me. Before the shoot, he sent me a 'check of understanding' which demonstrated to me that he 'got it'. (It wasn't a standard gig - and I needed a photographer who was above the norm). The shoot was tough in parts (due to the emotion we were trying to capture). But Danny was absolutely amazing. He noticed when I needed a laugh or a break. His professionalism, emotional intelligence and kindness is what has made this shoot a success. Oh yeah - when I got the pics, I nearly fell off my chair because of how brilliant they were. The pics seriously were WAY better than I could have ever dreamed. His attention to detail is second to none. Seriously. If you've made it this far in this review and you're still wondering if you should hire Danny - then you need to sort your face out and sort your life out. He's AMAZING. He's the BEST. I trust him with my brand. And that's saying something. Thank you Danny - from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Danny photographed our wedding, and we honestly couldn't have asked for anyone better. From start to finish, he was professional, friendly and made everyone feel completely at ease. He captured every special moment so naturally, and the photos are absolutely stunning. Looking through them has allowed us to relive our day all over again. His attention to detail and ability to capture genuine emotions is incredible. Danny blended into the background when needed but was always there to capture the perfect shot. So many of our guests commented on how lovely he was and how hard he worked throughout the day. We are beyond grateful for the memories he has given us and would recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing photographer. Thank you, Danny, for capturing our wedding so perfectly – we will treasure these photos forever!

A Different Perspective on Your Batley Project

There’s only so much you can show somebody from ground level.

You might have a large commercial building, a construction site that’s changing every week or a property where the surrounding land is just as important as the building itself.

Trying to explain all that with a few photographs taken from the pavement isn’t always particularly helpful.

I’m Danny, and that’s where drone photography comes in.

Aerial photographs let you step back and see how everything fits together. They’re useful for documenting construction work, showing the scale of industrial premises, marketing commercial property and giving clients a clearer understanding of what’s happening on site.

I work with businesses, contractors, developers and property professionals across Batley and the surrounding area.

Some projects only need a single visit. Others benefit from repeat flights at important stages, with photographs taken from similar viewpoints so you can see how things have changed.

I’ll help you decide what’s worth capturing, whether still photographs or video would be more useful and what needs organising before a flight can take place.

Because with drones, there’s a bit more to consider than simply turning up and pressing a button.

The aim is straightforward: safe, properly planned aerial photography that gives you images you can actually use.

– Danny T.

Local Coverage, Proper Planning

Being based in West Yorkshire means I’m well placed to discuss aerial photography projects around Batley, Birstall, Staincliffe, Soothill and nearby locations.

If you’re working on a building project, I’ll want to know where the site is, what’s happening there and which areas need photographing.

From there, we can assess the practicalities, including access, airspace, surrounding buildings and whether the proposed flight can be carried out safely and legally.Send me your site details and I’ll take a look →

Professional Photography for Businesses Across Yorkshire

Some projects need more than a ground-level view. Let’s capture the whole picture.

Drone & Aerial Photography Services in Batley

Drone photography isn’t just about getting an impressive photograph from high up. The real value is being able to show something that would otherwise be difficult to see or explain. I provide aerial photography and filming for commercial sites, property, construction work and other suitable projects.

Construction Progress Photography

Document how a building or development changes over time. Aerial photographs can show completed stages, ongoing work and the wider site layout, making them useful for progress reports, client updates and project records.

We can discuss one-off visits or repeat photography around important milestones.

Commercial Property Photography

Show potential buyers, tenants and investors more of a commercial property. Elevated photographs can capture the building, surrounding land, access roads and neighbouring features in ways that aren’t possible from the ground.

Useful for industrial units, business premises and larger development sites.

Industrial & Warehouse Aerial Photography

For businesses occupying larger premises, aerial photography can help show the size and layout of the site, parking, loading areas and surrounding infrastructure.

Ideal for company presentations, property marketing, project portfolios and business websites.

Roof & Building Visual Inspections

Where conditions allow, a drone can provide photographs of roofs, façades and other difficult-to-see areas without needing a photographer at roof level.

These images can help contractors and property managers identify areas requiring closer attention. They don’t replace a qualified structural or building survey.

Property Development & Land Photography

Aerial imagery can provide an overview of plots, site boundaries, surroundings and nearby infrastructure, helping communicate the scale and setting of a development.

Photographs are useful for visual reference and marketing, but are not a substitute for a measured land survey.

Drone Filming & Marketing Video

Sometimes moving footage tells the story better than a still photograph. Aerial video can show a completed development, reveal the scale of a premises or introduce a business location.

Footage can be provided for your own editing team or incorporated into a finished promotional film.

FROM FIRST FOUNDATIONS TO FINAL HANDOVER

Construction Drone Photography in Batley

Construction projects have a habit of looking completely different from one month to the next.

One visit might show groundworks and foundations. A few months later, the steelwork’s up, the building is taking shape and the site layout has changed considerably.

If you’re managing the project, you’ll know exactly what’s happening. But keeping clients, investors and other stakeholders informed isn’t always as straightforward.

Regular aerial photography can make those updates easier.

By photographing from planned viewpoints at different stages, we can create a visual record of the project as it develops. It can help illustrate site progress, show how different parts of the work fit together and provide useful photographs for reports and presentations.

Drone filming can also be useful at key milestones, particularly when you want to communicate the scale of the project or produce a finished case study.

I’ll work with the site manager to understand the programme, access requirements and relevant safety procedures.

Whether you need one visit to document a particular stage or photography over several months, we’ll plan the work around what the project requires.

Useful Construction Milestones

  • Before work starts
  • Groundworks and foundations
  • Structural progress and roofing
  • External works and landscaping
  • Near-completion progress
  • Final handover photography

We can plan photography around your build programme rather than choosing dates that don’t mean anything to the project.

How I Approach a Drone Photography Project

There’s more preparation involved in drone photography than a standard ground-level shoot. I’ll help make sure the flight is planned, assessed and organised around the site and the images you need.

01 / THE ENQUIRY

Tell Me About the Site

We’ll discuss the Batley location, what’s happening there and which photographs or footage you need. I’ll also ask about access, surrounding areas, site activity and any important deadlines.

02 / THE PLANNING

Check What’s Possible

Before confirming the flight, the proposed operation is assessed for airspace, permissions, risks and suitable take-off and landing areas. For construction sites, I’ll coordinate the relevant requirements with your site team.

03 / THE RESULTS

Capture & Deliver

When conditions are suitable, the planned photographs and footage are captured. Finished imagery is edited and delivered for the agreed uses, including web, print, reporting or marketing.

Aerial Photography Across Batley & the Surrounding Area

Batley has a mixture of older industrial premises, commercial buildings, residential areas and ongoing property projects.

That variety is one of the reasons drone photography can be useful, but also why every location needs looking at individually.

A relatively open development site may present different challenges from a commercial building surrounded by roads, neighbouring businesses and residential properties.

I cover enquiries across Batley and nearby areas including:

  • Batley town centre
  • Birstall
  • Soothill
  • Staincliffe
  • Carlinghow
  • Upper Batley
  • Howden Clough
  • Hanging Heaton

I can also discuss aerial projects in Dewsbury, Heckmondwike and the wider West Yorkshire area.

The first thing I’ll need is the site address or an accurate location pin. That lets me start checking the practical requirements before discussing a proposed visit.

Planning Around Buildings, People & Airspace

Not every location is suitable for drone photography, and being able to see a building on a map doesn’t mean it’s automatically safe or legal to fly there.

We need to consider the surrounding environment and the specific operation being proposed.

That can include:

  • Local airspace restrictions and permissions
  • Nearby roads, buildings and neighbouring properties
  • People who aren’t involved in the drone operation
  • Suitable take-off and landing locations
  • Site-specific hazards and working activities
  • Weather, visibility and wind conditions
  • The aircraft and authorisations appropriate to the flight

For active construction or industrial sites, coordination with the site manager and health and safety team is important too.

Flights are planned and risk-assessed, with appropriately authorised drone operators involved as required. If a proposed flight isn’t suitable, I’ll explain the limitations rather than promise something that can’t safely be delivered.

Combining Drone & Ground Photography

An aerial photograph is brilliant for showing the whole site, but it’s not always the best way to show the small details.

If you’re marketing an industrial property, for example, drone photographs might show the scale of the building and its surroundings, while ground-level photography can capture the entrances, interior spaces and important features.

For a construction project, aerial progress photographs can sit alongside images of finished workmanship, people on site and specific stages of the build.

Because I also offer commercial photography, we can discuss covering both perspectives as part of the same project.

That might include:

  • Aerial and ground-level property photography
  • Construction progress and completed details
  • Industrial premises and manufacturing photography
  • Business branding and workplace imagery
  • Commercial property marketing photographs

It’s worth thinking about the full set of photographs you’ll need before arranging the visit, particularly if they’re going into the same website, brochure or project report.

Batley Drone Photography FAQs

Have a site or building you’d like photographed? Here are some useful things to know before booking. You can also call me on 07540 118 284.

Do you provide drone photography throughout Batley?

Yes. I cover enquiries for drone photography around Batley, including Birstall, Soothill, Staincliffe, Carlinghow and nearby locations. Each proposed flight is assessed individually, so I’ll need the site address and an idea of what you’d like photographed before confirming what’s possible.

Can you photograph an active construction site?

Yes, where the operation can be carried out safely and legally. Flights on live sites require planning around site activity, nearby people, equipment, access and safety procedures. I’ll coordinate relevant arrangements with your site team before the visit.

Can you visit our construction site regularly to record progress?

Yes. We can discuss regular visits or photography at important milestones. Planning similar viewpoints over time can make it easier to compare different stages of a development and provide consistent photographs for reports and client updates.

Can you photograph industrial units, warehouses and commercial premises?

Yes. Aerial photography can be useful for showing the size, layout and surroundings of larger commercial buildings. It can also help with marketing, company presentations and property documentation, subject to the location being suitable for a drone flight.

Can a drone take pictures of our roof or other difficult-to-access areas?

Potentially. Where safe and permitted, aerial photographs can provide visual views of roofs, façades and other elevated areas. These can support an inspection or maintenance assessment by an appropriate professional, but the photographs alone aren’t a structural survey or technical diagnosis.

Do you supply drone video as well as aerial photographs?

Yes. I can discuss aerial still photography and drone filming, including footage for promotional films, project updates and marketing. The format and editing requirements will depend on how you plan to use the finished material.

Are drone flights risk-assessed and carried out legally?

Yes. Proposed flights are assessed for airspace restrictions, permissions, site conditions and operational safety. Flights are planned around applicable CAA requirements and carried out by operators with the appropriate authorisations for the proposed operation.

Can you fly a drone near houses, roads or busy commercial areas?

That depends on the exact surroundings, aircraft, permissions and type of operation. Not every flight is suitable, especially where uninvolved people, traffic and neighbouring properties are concerned. I’ll need to assess the proposed location before advising.

What happens if the weather is unsuitable?

High winds, heavy rain and poor visibility can prevent safe flying. I’ll review the forecast ahead of the session and assess conditions on the day. If flying isn’t safe, we’ll discuss rearranging the visit rather than taking unnecessary risks.

How much does drone photography in Batley cost?

Pricing depends on the location, flight planning, access requirements, complexity of the shoot and whether you need photographs, video or repeat visits. Once I’ve got the basic project details, I can provide a quotation based on the work involved.

Can you combine aerial photographs with normal commercial photography?

Yes. If you need photographs of your premises from the air as well as ground-level images of the building, interiors, staff or working environment, we can discuss covering both. It’s often useful when putting together a more complete set of photographs for a website or project portfolio.

What information do you need before quoting for a drone shoot?

Ideally, send me the site address, the type of building or project, what you’re hoping to capture and how the finished photographs or footage will be used. If you’ve got particular dates, site restrictions or repeat visits in mind, include those too.
